John Raynes was born in 1784 in Maine.^3,4,1 He was the son of John Raynes and Sarah Eaton.¹ John Raynes married Susanna Harris, daughter of John Harris and Prudence (?), on 19 December 1809.^5,6 John Raynes married Mary Harris, daughter of John Harris and Prudence (?), on 6 July 1817 in Ipswich, Massachussetts.⁵ John Raynes died on 8 November 1860 in Deer Isle, Hancock, Maine.⁷
