Born in Burnham, Maine, Nov. 5, 1913, the daughter of Leone and Dora Dyer Raynes, she had resided in Arkport since 1968. She had received her RN degree from Boston City Hospital. She was a member of the Arkport United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Raynes.
She is survived by her husband, George Keene, whom she married March 11, 1939; three sons, George Keene Jr. of California, Robert (Bonnie) Keene of Naples and James (Angela) Keene of Canada; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family was present to receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell. Funeral services were held at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m., with the Reverends William and Kristen Allen officiating. Burial in Arkport Cemetery.
