     Unknown (?) married Henry Teets Jr., son of Henry Teets and Mary (?), between 1805 and 1808 in Monongalia (now Preston) Monongalia (now Preston), Virginia; he appears ain the Monongalia Tax Records in 1805 and 1806, and his court records show that he was married at that itme, but his wife's name is not yet known.1

[S2804] Monongalia Count Records of District and County Courts, 92-1808, District Court, Monongalia County, Henry Teets Jr. summoned to answer those things of which he stands indicted (stealing a black horse from Fredrick (x) WILLHELM), 21 April 1808. Leonard COOP/CUPP Sr. and Roger HUNT summoned to testify in behalf of the Commonwealth, 25 Apr 1808. Henry TEETS Sr., Adam TEETS and Mary TEETS sumoned to testify in behalf of Henry TEETS. WILLHELM said he was at Geneva in May 1807 when his horse was stolen. He advertised and later found his horse beyond Uniontown. "A mulatto told him that Henry TEETS swapped for the horse said to be stolen." HUNT said he believe the horse to be the property of WILLHELM because of the markings and he said TEETS confessed to him that he stole the horse. CUPP said "the same day the horse was stolen, he was at Geneve with whiskey. The same evening the wife of the prisoner came to his house and the next morning the horse was missing and after hunting they found a yoke. He says the prisoner cofessed he had the horse and got him from one Jno MACKLEY but did not say how he came by him and that the prisoner was in the neighborhood at the time the horse was stolen." Amos ROBBARTS was justice and James METHENY was constable.

    In May 1808, Henry Jr. is sentenced to five (5) years in prison.

    Nancy B. S. Teets
    Mrs. Nancy Bell Strauser of Glade Farms, W. Va., died Saturday, March 1, 1930 at 7:10p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. C. J. Merryman, 409 Braddock avenue, Uniontown, of paralysis. She was 76 years old.
    In addition to her husband and her daughter Mrs. Merryman, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Marling Mause of Everett; Demerit Teets of Uniontown; and Homer of Clifton Mills. Four daughters, Mrs. H. C. Hay, misses Adelia, Estella and Elizabeth Teets, preceded her in death. She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Ellen Clark of Hopwood and Mrs. Sarah Collins of Masontown.
    There will be short funeral services held at the Merryman home this evening at 7:30 o'clock. The funeral cortege will leave Uniontown at 8 a.m. Tuesday for Glade Farms, W. Va. where church services will be held with burial in church cemetery.
