Devina Ellen "Dee" Prechtl, 89, of 589 Kerner Ave.,
St. Marys, passed away early Friday morning.

She was born in Canton, OH on March 21, 1916, the
daughter of the late William Charles and Meryl Hayes
    Wolfe.

Mrs. Prechtl was married to the late Leo Prechtl in
St. Cecelia's Church in Benezette on June 26, 1938.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Pollitt
of St. Marys and Jean Marie Dragovich of Wellsboro
along with four sisters; Sarah (Mrs. John) Fries of
Baltimore, MD, Anna Virginia (Mrs. Homer) Knoch of
California, Isabelle (Mrs. Alex) Dorawitch of Orlando,
FL, Genevieve (Mrs. William) Leikam of Glen Burnie, MD
and one brother, Phillip Reese Wolfe of Hayes, VA.

She is also survived by five grandsons; Leonard Leo,
Mark Steven and Michael Wicket, Todd Edward and Troy
Dragovich, three granddaughters; Debbie Marie Wickett,
Wendy Ann Wickett and Janet Dragovich, nine
great-grandchildren; Mark Wickett, Jr., Danielle Marie
and Leanne Sheldon, Austin, Cole, Cassie, Kayla, Riley
    and Caden Dragovich.

In addition to her husband who passed away on November
23, 1953, she was preceded in death by her mother, in
October 1918. Her father then married Anna Reese
Larkin Wolfe who passed away on December 26, 1982, her
father passed away on February 16, 1959. Also five
brothers preceded her, including Howard Wolfe on March
    3, 1993, Charles William Wolfe on April 27, 1942,
Edward Joseph Wolfe in 1988, Francis Willard who
passed away in infancy in 1929, Leslie Clair Wolfe in

Mrs. Prechtl was a member of the Orange, both local,

family and friends. She seemed very much to enjoy
doing for others, just for the simple joy of seeing
smiles on their faces. She took courses in drawing,

she kept busy by donating her time and effort
decorating and painting the Girl Scout Proctor House,

painting, doll making and cooking. After retirement
she kept busy by donating her time and effort
decorating and painting the Girl Scout Proctor House,
