Groover of Smithfield and John Groover of Ohiopyle; four daughters Mrs. Charles (Edna) Lynch of Farmington, Mrs. George (Helen) Kadar of Chalk Hill, Pa., Mrs. Francis (Grace) Nelson of Uniontown and Mrs. Michael (Virginia) Dameter of Lemont Furnace; forty two grandchildren, fifty five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son Vernon Groover in 1950. She was a member of the East View United Methodist Church of Bruceton Mills, W. Va.. Friends will be received in the Jerome W. Shell Funeral Home, 184 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. today from 7 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. and until Saturday at 11 a.m., the hour of service. Dr. Earl P. Confer will officiate. Interment in East View Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, W. Va.

    Charles was a very avid stock car racer.
    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Ann Nelson.
    Charles is survived by his wife Pamela Jean Brown Nelson and three children; Charles Robert Nelson and wife Lisa of Bitner, Ricky Nelson of Uniontown and Kimberly Brown Teets of Fairchance; three grandchildren, Justin, Brad and Faythe Nelson, three sisters, Darlene Faye Nelson Descaro and husband James, Dorothy Grace Nelson Maust and Blanche Jane Nelson, one brother Roy Aurther Nelson and wife Tammy, and special nieces and nephews; Amanda Teets, Jennifer Teets, Mackenzie Brown, Jesse Brown and Aaron Snyder
