She was a homemaker. She enjoyed serving the Lord and she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Little Otter United Methodist Church.
She is survived by son, John Hacker of Frametown; daughters, Mae Peters of Phenix City, Ala., and Sue Friend, Sharon Brady and Carolyn Patrick, all of Gassaway; brother, Perry Bud Booth of Steubenville, Ohio; sisters, Margie McClung of Parkersburg and Delorise Urice of Keyser; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arley O. Hacker, in 1980; sons, Jim and Jack Hacker; daughters, Jean Brown and Libby Ferguson; and five sisters.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev. Lorous Roberts, the Rev. Linn Schiefer and the Rev. George Hamrick officiating. Burial will be in the Hacker-Scott Cemetery, Tunnel Fork.
