    June 23, 1935
    On Saturday, June 15, 1935, the death angel entered North Wheeling Hospital and claimed for his victim Sidney Booth. Mr. Booth was fatally injured in a fall from a ladder on Wednesday, June 12, 1935, at the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in Wheeling. He was rushed to the hospital and lived for three days. The deceased was born in Marshall County, W. VA., on January 29, 1889, the son of the late George and Mary Matilda Booth. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Della Booth, he leaves two sons, Wilbert and William, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Matilda Booth, all of Moundsville; six brothers, Clarence of Warren Ohio; Earl of Glen Easton; Lance of Detroit, Mich.; Arch of Cleveland, Ohio; Harry and Ransom of Moundsville; and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Stoddard of Detroit and Inez of Moundsville. Funeral services were held at the home on June 17, 1935 and interment followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
