    A native of Newbury, W. Va., he was a son of the late Stephen and Darety (Squires) Stansberry.
    Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther (Goodnow) Stansberry; three sons, Howard Stansberry, Oldtown; Charles Stansberry, Ridgeley, and Paul Stansberry., city; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Hanson, Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Charles Whisner and Mrs. Virginia Vanetta, both of this city; a brother, Darr Stansberry, Follansbee, W. Va., three sisters, Mrs. Etta Shaffer and Mrs. Grace Huke, both of Morgantown, W. Va., andMrs. Nora Hibbs, New Cumberland Pa.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
