     John James Lowe was born in 1831 in Nelson, Virginia.3,4,2 He was the son of William Walker Lowe and Polly Hight.2 John James Lowe married Margaret Meeks on 27 November 1858.5 John James Lowe died in 1863.6
     John James Lowe was inducted into the Confederate Army in the Civil War. He died in a dysentery epidemic that swept through the Army camp in Virginia in 1863.6
