Have been out and about. You know, tis the season. My grandfather was born in Frederick Co, Va in 1898. He was born a Stottlemyer but his mother was a Teets. She died shortly after his birth and, according to a family story, he was not wanted by his father and was raised by the Teets. He later changed his name. He lived in Frederick County, Va and then in Winchester, Va. He died in 1977. He had 4 children, Clifton, Annabell, Elsie, & Elizabeth. His wife, Edith, died in 1970. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Becky.
