Mrs. Reid passed away June 20, 2009, at Geneva Village Retirement Community.
She was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Ivanhoe, W.Va. and was a resident of Perry for the past 59 years.
She was a member of the former Grace Baptist Church in Leroy and attended the Perry Baptist Church. She also attended prayer services at the nursing home. She enjoyed reading the Bible, shopping, crocheting, embroidering, cooking and baking.
Mrs. Reid was a homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons, John Reid of Perry and James (Kelly) Reid of Madison; four daughters, Sheila (Tom) McGonnell of Perry, Sherry (Ken) Staley of Roaming Shores, Linda (Harry) Hyde of Saybrook, and Patty Krauss of Madison; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Arden (Diane) Wilfong of Grafton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Opha and Rose Mae (Tenney) Wilfong; and grand-daughter, Tania.
