The church and cemetery are located on the left side of the highway 3.7 miles from the courthouse in Buckhannon on Rt. 20 North. some of the oldest stones were so difficult to read that we had to depend on WPA readings to clarify. The oldest marked grave is Jonas W. Martin died 1838. The cemetery was read in the fall of 1983 by Clara Jett Lawson. Read again in April and May 1991 by Karon Lemley King and Billie Faye Adkins Drost.
