    TEETS, Robert Elwood "Bob", died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 6:00 a.m. in Eaglewood Care Center. He was born December 11, 1928 in Clark County the son of Daniel and Mabel (McLaughlin) Teets. He was a 1946 graduate of Pleasant Township (Catawba) High School and served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Vernay Laboratories in Yellow Springs after 30 years of service. He was a member of Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church until its closing, the Emmanus Community, Ingomar Lodge #610, Knights of Pythias and volunteered with the March of Dimes, Eaglewood Care Center and Forest Glen. He was a wonderful dad to his children and spouses, Greg and Tammy Teets, Gloria and Mike Esterline and Gary Teets. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Doug (Jennifer) Teets, Christy Esterline, Julia (Joshua) Sheets, Lisa Esterline and Jennifer (Chris) Gaskey. He was "Great Daddy" to six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann and Maxwell Graham Teets, Joshua Fitzhugh Sheets, and Samuel Robert, Analise Susan and Violet Claire Gaskey. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley Teets, dear friend, Illene Cessna and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Doris, his parents, three sisters, eight brothers including his twin Roger, and his daughter-in-law, Susan. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday (today) in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with an Ingomar Lodge service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to his funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home led by Julia Sheets. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Donations may be made to March of Dimes at 3131 S. Dixie Drive, Suite 313, Dayton, Ohio 45439. His family wishes to thank the staff of Eaglewood Care Center for their friendships and the loving care he received from them.
