    She was born Monday, May 26, 1913 at Mt. Zion, Tucker Co., a daughter of the late Orestes Strawderman and Harriet Sturms Strawderman. On November 23, 1931, she was married to Blennice Blair ?Fluke? Wilfong, who preceded her in death August 8, 1995.
    Surviving are four sons, Forrest B. ?Sonny Wilfong and wife Patty, Blackman Flats Comm.; Keith Wilfong and wife Wanda, David M. Wilfong and wife Lisa and Stephen ?Craig? Wilfong and wife Sheila, all of Parsons; two daughters, Mary Lou O?Dell and Kathie Dellinger and husband Donald, all of Virginia.
    She is the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by one son, Scotty L. Wilfong; four brothers, Opha, Buck, Edwin and Denver Strawderman and three sisters, Florna Swisher, Flossie Martin and Bessie Phillips.
    She attended the one room school at Clover Run. She was a cook for the former Tucker County Hospital at Parsons and she retired from the former Everett Price Store. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed needlework and she loved her family.
    The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Thursday from 6 until 8 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11 AM. The Reverend John Morrison will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons. The Lohr & Barb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for LULA JANE STRAWDERMAN WILFONG.

    Born in Downing, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Snodgrass Starkey and the mother of the late Margaret Clark.

    She is survived by four children, Mickey Wilfong of Havre de Grace, John Wilfong of Riverton, West Virginia, Ethel Jones Creswell of Havre de Grace and Anna Fretz of Cape Junction, Oregon' 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

    Funeral services were held Monday, July 27 at Mitchell Funeral Home in Havre de Grace. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens with Rev. James L. Burcham officiating.

    Pallbearers were James, John, and John Jr. Simpers, Michael and Glen Wilfond and Michael Lee.

    In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Bruce Biller of California; two brothers, Mickey Wilfong of Havre de Grace and John Wilfong of Riverton, W.Va.; two sisters, Ethel Jones Creswell of Havre de Grace and Anna Fretz of Cape Junction, Ore.

    Funeral services were held Monday, July 20 at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Havre de Grace. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens with the Rev. James L. Burcham officiating.
