   EL CAMPO - The Gates of Heaven opened for God to receive his newest angel, Jeremiah David Teets. He went to be with his creator Sept. 24, 2011. Jeremiah, 26, was born Oct. 28, 1984 to Rhonda Starling Teets and Richard Teets. He was the proud father of three children and his passions were his family, friends, music, his guitar, and life.
   Jeremiah is survived by daughter, Iris Elaine Teets, and sons, Lennon William Teets and Isaac River Teets; his mother; his father; brothers, Justin Teets of San Marcos, Jared Teets of College Station, Jacob Teets and Joseph Teets of El Campo; and sister, Kira Teets of San Marcos.
   Jeremiah is also survived by his grandmothers, Hedy Starling of El Campo and Barbara Teets Welcher and husband Paul of San Marcos; great-grandmother, Martha McCrumb of Hallettsville; and aunts and uncles, Roger Alan Starling Jr. and his wife Donna of Flower Mound, Ronnie Starling of Vienna, Rebecca Starling Klatt and husband Kelvin of Sugar Land, Rory Starling and wife Barbara of El Campo, Todd Teets of San Marcos and Meri Teets Disque and husband Ken of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his cousins, Buck and Jolie Starling of Flower Mound, Grant Klatt of Sugar Land, Chase Starling of El Campo, Joshua Nechtman of Fort Worth, Kelsea and Kaytlin Disque of Pennsylvania, and Danen and Nikki Disque of Colorado.
   Jeremiah was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roger Alan Starling Sr. and Leslie Teets; his great-grandfather, Ralph Starling; and his great-grandmothers, Margaret Alice Starling and Ruth Melton.
   Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at Triska Funeral Home (979-543-3681). The family will receive friends and relatives from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at First Baptist Church (979-543-2793) at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, Rev. Rick DuBroc officiating. A reception will follow at First Baptist Church's Fellowship Hall.
   Pallbearers are Matt Bena, Louis Carriere, Koale Jaks, Seth Jones, Rudy Ochoa, and Cody Wishert.
   Honorary pallbearers are Jeremiah's brothers, Justin, Jared, Jacob and Joseph Teets; his uncles, Roger Alan Starling Jr., Ronnie Starling, Kelvin Klatt, Rory Starling, and Todd Teets, and Curtis Clapp.
   Donations may be made in memory of Jeremiah David Teets to a trust fund established for his children, Iris, Lennon and Isaac, at First State Bank of Louise (979-543-2274).
