    Dink is a US Navy WWII veteran and a retired Coal Miner of 42 years from Pittston Coal Company. He and Nancy managed a campground/river tubing business in Millville on the Shenandoah River for another 26 years.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy Bays Wilfong, their 13 children: Denver Jr. (Brenda), Galloway, West Virginia; Randy (Jeanie), Weston, West Virginia; Mark (Ann), Rosemont; Tim Gerard, Grafton, West Virginia; Joey (Tina) Gerard, Rosemont; Jane (Leonard) Reger, Lakeland, Florida; Barbara Bolton, Weston; Linda Skidmore, Bridgeport, West Virginia; Peggy Wilfong, Springfield, Ohio; Debbie DePolo, Washington, DC; Dawna Conley (Bob Daidone), Palmetto, Florida; Kim (Bryan) Brewster, San Diego, California and Deneise (Raymond) Bray, Bridgeport; two grandchildren they helped raise as their own, Jason DePolo (Indian Rocks, Florida) and Treasa Chidester (Redondo Beach, California), and 21 other wonderful grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren, their pets “Bip”, “BoBo” and “Buttons”; his brothers Bedford Jr. (Belington, West Virginia), John (Flemington, West Virginia); and sisters: Louise Trimble (Rosemont), Nettie Fosselman (Greenville, South Carolina), Shirley Frum (Rosemont), Mary Henley (Dechard, Tennessee), Janet Alexander (Bigfork, Montana); and 38 nieces and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Spencer Wilfong; four brothers: Harold, George, Raymond and Charles; and two sisters: Icy Greathouse and Velva Wilfong.

    A 67-year member of UMWA Local Union 1058 and lifetime member of VFW Post 573 Clarksburg, West Virginia.

    For all who knew Dink, he was well-loved for his devotion to his family, his hard work and his hunting and fishing stories. He will be GREATLY missed.

    PHILIPPI — Juanita Levon Wilfong, 84, a resident of Rosemont, WV, joined her husband George in heaven on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

    She was born November 6, 1928, in Taylor County, a daughter of the late Byrd and Delphia (Taylor) Trimble.

    She was united in marriage to George Lee Wilfong, who preceded her in death on January 31, 1989.

    Surviving are two sons, Terry L. Wilfong and wife Linda of Philippi and David Lynn Wilfong of Rosemont and Tina K. Wilfong of Grafton; sister, Geneva Wilfong of Rosemont; three grandsons, Terry Lee Wilfong Jr. and wife Melissa of Charleston, Travis Lynn Wilfong and wife Shannon of Fairmont and Christopher Lynn Wilfong of Grafton; and two great-grandchildren, Philip and Jonah Wilfong of Charleston.




    Mrs. Wilfong was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Trimble, and a sister, Lorinda Trimble.

    She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and loved her dog Toby. She was a Methodist by faith.

    Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, on Saturday, January 26, from 2-8 p.m. and on Sunday, January 27, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., the service hour, with Rev. Johnny Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

    Mrs. Trimble was a member of the Bailey Memorial United Methodist Church, Rosemont and she was an avid reader of the Bible. Her hobbies included working puzzles, playing dominos and Chinese checkers, quilting, cooking, and gardening. She was also a group leader of the Al-Anon organization in Philippi. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clarksburg Chapter #11.

Clifford Schell officiating. Interment will follow at Flemington IOOF Cemetery.

    An Eastern Star service will be conducted Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Her hobbies included working puzzles, playing dominos and Chinese checkers, quilting, cooking, and gardening. She was also a group leader of the Al-Anon organization in Philippi. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clarksburg Chapter #11.
