He is also survived by one son, Leland and wife, Ardis Teets, of Eglon; one daughter, Letitia Jane and husband, James A. May, of Cotter, Ark.; two brothers, Ellis Teets and David Teets, both of Horse Shoe Run; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Charles; and one sister, Elmina. Mr. Teets was an educator and dairy farmer. He attended Bridgewater College for three years, Shepherd College for one year, and Duke University for a summer session. He taught school and served as principal of Eglon School, and he taught at the Sell School on Hogback. He was a lifelong member of the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, director of the Milk Co-op, and a member of the W.Va. Artificial Breeders Association.
    Friends will be received at the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, Eglon, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Friday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., with the Rev.     She was a member and deaconess of Maple Springs church of the Brethren, was a member of Eglon Homemakers of America and WV Retired Teachers Assoc. Friends were received April 15. Funeral services were held at the Maple Spring church of the Brethren, Eglon on April 16 with Rev. Roger Rike and Rev. Glenn Nissly officiating. Interment followed in Maple Spring Cemetery. He was born April 27, 1909, in Eglon, a son of the late William Lindsey and Dora Elma Fike Teets. On June 19, 1937, he married Rebecca L. Faw Teets. He is also survived by one son, Leland and wife, Ardis Teets, of Eglon; one daughter, Letitia Jane and husband, James A. May, of Cotter, Ark.; two brothers, Ellis Teets and David Teets, both of Horse Shoe Run; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Charles; and one sister, Elmina. Mr. Teets was an educator and dairy farmer. He attended Bridgewater College for three years, Shepherd College for one year, and Duke University for a summer session. He taught school and served as principal of Eglon School, and he taught at the Sell School on Hogback. He was a lifelong member of the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, director of the Milk Co-op, and a member of the W.Va. Artificial Breeders Association. Friends will be received at the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, Eglon, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Friday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Rogers Fike officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Spring Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
