Merlin Eldridge Teets married Eula Blanche Hall, daughter of William Hall and Lillie Westfall, on 15 November 1938 in Gassaway, Braxton, West Virginia.⁵ Rev. Merlin Eldridge Teets married Ida Caldona Stout on 9 June 1943 in Kanawha, West Virginia.^6,3 Rev. Merlin Eldridge Teets died on 6 March 1993 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, at age 73.^2,3

     Medford W. Teets was born on 1 January 1924 in Braxton, West Virginia.^2,3,4,5 He is the son of Cleophus "Cleo/Cleova" Teets and Leota "Leotie" Helmick.¹ Medford W. Teets married Thelma Butcher, daughter of Ernest Butcher and Martha (?), on 28 November 1945 in Braxton, West Virginia.²
     Medford W. Teets began military service on 2 April 1943 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio.⁵

     Lydia Ruhama Cutright was born circa 1800 in [West] Virginia.^3,4 She was the daughter of Abraham Cutright and Sarah Susannah Bush.² Lydia Ruhama Cutright married George Westfall, son of Zackariah Westfall and Hannah Woolf, on 27 October 1816 in Harrison, Virginia.^2,1 Lydia Ruhama Cutright died in 1840.¹

     Watson Westfall was born in 1818.¹ He was the son of George Westfall and Lydia Ruhama Cutright.¹

     Fanna Westfall was born in 1821.¹ She was the daughter of George Westfall and Lydia Ruhama Cutright.¹

Westfall married Cecelia Cutright, daughter of Ashel Nathaniel Cutright and Naoma C. "Naomi" Cutright, on 21 November 1850 in Upshur, West Virginia.⁸ Enoch W. Westfall married Emma Virginia Conley, daughter of Benjamin Conley and Sarah A. (?), on 13 April 1859 in Upshur, [West] Virginia.² Enoch W. Westfall died on 28 April 1904 in Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 77.

     Nancy Westfall was born in 1799.¹ She was the daughter of Zackariah Westfall and Hannah Woolf.¹

     Oscar G. Conley was born on 28 June 1859 in Upshur, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Conley and Lydia Westfall.¹

     Daniel Teets was born on 21 April 1823 in Virginia; evidence indicates that Jacob and Barbara Teets are the parents of this Daniel Teets; noting that the Barbour County Tax Records show Jabob Teets, Anthony Teets, and Daniel Teets as the only Teets in Barbour County in those years; therefore, the author believes this to be the case.

According to other sources, an Anthony Teets and a son Daniel Teets, b. 1823, migrated to Barbour County (but not to Upshur). It is described in the "Union and Confederate Soldiers and Sympathizers of Barbour County, West Virginia" (published 2005) that this Daniel Teets "was the son of Anthony Teets, b. Preston County, settled in Barbour County; grandson of Michael Teets, immigrant from Germany, settled Preston County". It is also possible that this parentage was derived from Morton's book, p. 474, and could be in error. This Daniel Teets, b. April 21, 1823, died March 30, 1911, was buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Barbour County (per Findagrave). This Daniel Teets appears in every census 1860 through 1910, all in Barbour County.

Based upon the above documentation, Daniel's stated birth date (1823), a father named Anthony Teets would most likely have had a birth date perhaps in the early 1800s. Such a birth date for this Anthony Teets would make him a candidate to be a son of one of Henry Teets sons, e.g. Jacob Teets (i.e. a grandson of Henry Teets). The Preston County Tax Records chart shows Anthony in Preston County in 1844 and also in 1845, and in Barbour County until at least 1851. In 1847 and 1848, Jacob, Anthony and Daniel are the only Teets in the Barbour County Tax Records. Considering all of this information, including Daniel's birth date, the census history of this Daniel Teets, the author currently thinks that this Daniel Teets is the son of Jacob Teets, a brother to Anthony Teets, and a grandson of Henry Teets.^2,3,4,5,6,7 He was the son of Jacob Teets and Mary Barbara Miller. Daniel Teets married Louvila Michaels, daughter of James Michaels and Mary (?), circa 1842.^1,3 Daniel Teets married Sarah J. Rinehart on 25 October 1896 in West Virginia.^8,9 Daniel Teets died on 30 March 1911 in Barbour, West Virginia, at age 87.¹⁰ He was buried after 30 March 1911 in Philippi, Barbour, West Virginia.¹⁰

     Louvila Michaels was born on 10 May 1824 in West Virginia.^4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of James Michaels and Mary (?).^2,3 Louvila Michaels married Daniel Teets, son of Jacob Teets and Mary Barbara Miller, circa 1842.^8,5 Louvila Michaels died on 20 June 1896 in Barbour, (West) Virginia, at age 72.³ She died on 20 June 1898 in Philippi, Barbour, West Virginia, at age 74.⁴ She was buried after 20 June 1898 in Philippi, Barbour, West Virginia.⁴
